bachelor degree in actuarial science and master degree in banking & finance

Experience:

i have been helping students with maths/maths related subjects since i was in high school. furthermore, i was a student assistant in university. i enjoy teaching maths very much. i have taught O-level Maths/Add Maths, SAT, A-level, Pre-calculus, econometrics (i applied econometrics in my thesis)

Approach:

i have a colourful formula book that has been with me since i was 18. due to this, i always supply the new student with a notebook where he/she can write down the formulas that we learn on that day by using coloured pens (compulsory). the student will continue using the formula book in uni as he/she has spent time in making it pretty and neat :) Moreover, i do not only teach about maths, i also emphasize on general knowledge and etiquette. i always try my best to explain the topic as simple as i could. Albert Einstein said "if you cant explain it simply, you do not understand it well enough". sometimes, the student has topics that i do not know about. i would give 110% in learning about the topic. most often, the students say my ways of explanations are easier than their teachers.
