I am a British qualified secondary school Maths Teacher and head of maths who graduated from mechanical engineering and completed a postgraduate degree in maths education. I take pride in having a 100% success rate in teaching any student maths at any level for the past 16 years. Approach:

Assessment: I assess the level of my students in the first lesson to address any ‘bad knowledge’ or gaps in their learning. 2) Targetted learning: I personalize my lessons to the student’s needs. Students might be about to learn the content but fail during the exam as are unable to apply their learning to the exam questions. 3) Teaching techniques: I believe maths should be made simple to the extent that a student is able to teach the lesson to another student at the end of the lesson.
