Experience:

I estimate that I have worked with students since 2019. I was a full-time tutor between 2021 and 2023, and part-time afterward. I have extensively taught English Literature, Mathematics, and Physics, as well as select topics in Finance and Accounting, ranging from secondary school to undergraduate level.

I worked in an Independent school, St. John’s High School, teaching English Literature as a recommended teacher by my High School teacher. My grades and passion for Literature inspired him to observe me teach and help other learners succeed. I enjoyed guiding students through the syllabus to their final paper preparation through revision, from January 2021 to November 2021. I continued tutoring online from March 2022 to October 2023 through CourseHero and Wyzant. Additionally, I continued part-time work through Wyzant, Varsity Tutors, and in-person with a few students in College and High School for Mathematics, English, Physics, Finance, and Accounting.

Approach:

My teaching style is based on conversing with my students. It's through conversation that I can tell how much my student knows and what to emphasize. I prefer creating lessons from different topics and adjusting them to each student's personal interests and level. I pay attention to the various education systems before starting with each student to ensure the learner isn’t overwhelmed in the process. I have tutored learners worldwide, offering guidance, lessons, and revision to help them achieve better results by understanding topics and how to cover them.

My previous students include those with challenges in English and Mathematics skills, qualifications, and who have failed exams multiple times. I not only help them pass but also ensure they understand the concepts well enough to explain them to others.
