Based on my school tutoring experience, education is a continuous process that involves active participation from the students, parents, school teachers and tuition teachers. Usually at the start of a school semester, students are greatly encouraged to set goals that they would like to achieve for their subjects. It is challenging on the student’s part to set realistic aims for subjects that they generally dislike or have difficulty coping with.

Central to our approach to tutoring is flexibility and collaboration. We see each student as an individual with particular concerns, situations, and goals, and we respond to these diverse factors. We respect the student's authority and autonomy. We assist students in understanding and interpreting the requirements of an assignment. We help students with their writing at any stage in the writing process. We assist students in clarifying and developing ideas.

With nearly 9 years of professional experience in Financial Controlling and FP&A, I have a strong grasp of practical financial and accounting concepts. My career has required explaining complex financial information to various stakeholders, helping me develop an approachable, clear teaching style. While I don’t have formal teaching experience, my extensive work in budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting has equipped me to teach these subjects effectively.

I believe in structured, goal-oriented lesson planning that is customized to the student’s needs and objectives. I begin by assessing the student's current knowledge and understanding of finance or accountancy, followed by setting clear, achievable learning outcomes.

I have more than 23 years of experience in teaching commerce subjects to students in schools and colleges. The level of teaching ranges from XI to postgraduate students. Subjects taught by me include Financial Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, Managerial Accountancy, Business Studies, Commerce, Management, Economics, Statistics, Financial Management, etc. I prefer to provide more detail about the concepts for better understanding and retention. My qualifications are Ph.D. in Commerce, M.Com (Accountancy), MBA (Finance), B.Ed. Moreover, I have also passed a national-level exam to check eligibility for teaching at the college level, conducted by the University Grants Commission of India.

Tutoring Approach

I teach according to the level of understanding of the students. Therefore, I prefer to give simple and common examples found around us in our daily life. This makes the concept very easy and interesting. Moreover, I break the complicated issues into small units to understand well and then to frame a concept at larger perspectives.

The language used in teaching is very simple and easy to understand, even by weaker students. I am a self-motivated person and strive to motivate my students for better performance regularly.
